Ubuntu-ie Global Bug Jam Story

Posted in Community, FOSS, GNU/Linux, SFD, Ubuntu by Mean-Machine on February 22, 2009

On Saturday, the 21st February 2009 at 10am the Irish Ubuntu Community met in a computer lab at DIT in Dublin to take part in the Ubuntu Global Bug Jam.

Even though it was the first time that we had a bug jam event here in Ireland, we had a very decent turn out. 15 people in total came to the event, including a DIT lecturer who promotes ubuntu to his students.

Rory gave an introduction on Launchpad and bug triaging.

Then we started jammin. Unfortunately Launchpad wouldn’t work for us for a good while.

It was a great day, brilliant venue, some new faces – we rocked!
We’re already looking to organize the next Bug Jam.
